![]() It is annoyingly bad if you are a non smoker. The only problem I have with this place is the smoke.you will leave smelling like smoke no matter what you do. Maybe best comparison would be Parks in Philly, but I haven't been there in years, so I'm not sure how Parks has changed since. It doesn't compete with the big boys: Aria, Borgata, Foxwoods, etc.but I haven't seen a casino smaller than them that is better than Hammond (Cincinatti, Pittsburgh, Windsor all worse). 95% of dealers are efficient and know all the rules, rulings are always accurate when needed. ![]() The room itself is solid, one of the top rooms in my list of rooms that are professional, clean, and with a good staff. I only play a few here and there, but they are run well. Circuit events bring in a lot of out of towners and the cash games play really well through the week (but not as well as a typical Fri/Sat). Tournaments are decent, bigger one with an ok blind structure and smaller ones with a really fast blind structure. About 65% regulars on a Sun-Thurs, with about 50% regulars on a Fri/Sat, but these are not all pros - just regular faces. ![]() But, on a Fri/Sat 7pm-3am, the games (2/5 and 5/10) are great - plenty of action, can get an hourly rate of up to 15bb/hr at this time. The game has changed a little since then, with 2-5 noticeably harder on a weekday. Used to grind here 10+ years ago when I was in my early 20s and now play here recreationally.
